The analog SLR camera offers program automation, shutter and aperture preselection, as well as manual exposure. This allows you to work quickly depending on the subject or consciously design the shutter speed and aperture.

The A-1 has the Canon FD mount for compatible FD/New FD lenses. EF, EF-S, and RF are different systems and are not directly compatible. Universal compatibility with all older Canon lenses is therefore also not guaranteed.

The camera requires a suitable 6V battery, for example 4LR44. Even manual operation depends on the battery. For shooting, you need a suitable lens, 35mm film, and a suitable battery.
