This clearly defines the connection direction. It is intended for the continued use of a vintage screw-mount lens on a different SLR system, not as a Nikon F to Z adapter.

The Range Depends on the Exact Design

K&F offers different designs for M42 to Nikon F: one explicitly designated with optical glass for infinity focus and a manual version without infinity focus release. The exact glass/close-focus version is not clearly specified for this item. Therefore, an infinity focus function is not inferred from the name M42–NIK alone.

Deliberately Operate Manual Optics

Focus on the designated M42 lens is set by hand. For the aperture, the specific mechanical operation of the lens, such as an existing aperture pin, is what matters. This feature is separate from the camera mount. For a close-up setup, the limited range may play a different role than for landscape photography.

Select for the Intended Use

The certain information here is the direction M42 to Nikon F. Whether your subject is within the reachable range depends on the exact adapter design. No optical correction, additional focal length change, or complete exposure transmission is assumed from this.

Product Details

Brand: K&F Concept

Model: M42-NIK

Product Type: Lens Adapter

Lens Mount: M42

Camera Mount: Nikon F

Scope of Delivery and Image Notice

The product mentioned in the title is supplied.

Additional accessories are only included if they are explicitly mentioned in the title as part of the offer.

The images show sample items.
