Battery disposal
Information on the disposal of old batteries
The following notice is intended for those who use batteries or products with built-in batteries and no longer resell them in the form in which they were delivered (end users):
1. Free return of used batteries
Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. You are legally obliged to return used batteries to ensure proper disposal. You can dispose of them at a municipal collection point or at a local retailer. As a battery distributor, we are also obligated to take back used batteries. However, our obligation to take back is limited to used batteries of the type that we carry or have carried as new batteries in our product range. You can therefore either return used batteries of the aforementioned type to us with sufficient postage or hand them in free of charge at our shipping warehouse at the address listed in the imprint.
2. Meaning of the battery symbols
Batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin (see below). This symbol indicates that batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. For batteries containing more than 0.0005 percent mercury by mass, more than 0.002 percent cadmium by mass, or more than 0.004 percent lead by mass, the chemical name of the pollutant used is located below the wheeled bin symbol – where "Cd" stands for cadmium, "Pb" for lead, and "Hg" for mercury.

Description
K&F Concept M42-NIK Lens Adapter (M42 to Nikon F)
Condition and Limitations
Condition: used.
The product shows normal signs of wear due to age that cannot be avoided.
This may include small scratches, slight discoloration, or minor material wear.
Slight age-related signs of wear, such as scratches or matte areas, may be present.
M42 Screw-Mount Lens to Nikon F
This adapter connects the designated M42 mount on the lens side to Nikon F on the camera side. This clearly defines the connection direction. It is intended for the continued use of a vintage screw-mount lens on a different SLR system, not as a Nikon F to Z adapter.
The Range Depends on the Exact Design
K&F offers different designs for M42 to Nikon F: one explicitly designated with optical glass for infinity focus and a manual version without infinity focus release. The exact glass/close-focus version is not clearly specified for this item. Therefore, an infinity focus function is not inferred from the name M42–NIK alone.
Deliberately Operate Manual Optics
Focus on the designated M42 lens is set by hand. For the aperture, the specific mechanical operation of the lens, such as an existing aperture pin, is what matters. This feature is separate from the camera mount. For a close-up setup, the limited range may play a different role than for landscape photography.
Select for the Intended Use
The certain information here is the direction M42 to Nikon F. Whether your subject is within the reachable range depends on the exact adapter design. No optical correction, additional focal length change, or complete exposure transmission is assumed from this.
