Information on the disposal of old batteries
The following notice is intended for those who use batteries or products with built-in batteries and no longer resell them in the form in which they were delivered (end users):
1. Free return of used batteries
Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. You are legally obliged to return used batteries to ensure proper disposal. You can dispose of them at a municipal collection point or at a local retailer. As a battery distributor, we are also obligated to take back used batteries. However, our obligation to take back is limited to used batteries of the type that we carry or have carried as new batteries in our product range. You can therefore either return used batteries of the aforementioned type to us with sufficient postage or hand them in free of charge at our shipping warehouse at the address listed in the imprint.
2. Meaning of the battery symbols
Batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin (see below). This symbol indicates that batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. For batteries containing more than 0.0005 percent mercury by mass, more than 0.002 percent cadmium by mass, or more than 0.004 percent lead by mass, the chemical name of the pollutant used is located below the wheeled bin symbol – where "Cd" stands for cadmium, "Pb" for lead, and "Hg" for mercury.

Connecting Nikon F and Nikon Z
This adapter is designed for the specified Nikon F/AI/AI-S lens mount and a Nikon Z camera mount. This allows you to use an existing manually operated Nikon lens on a compatible mirrorless camera. F and Z are different mounts; the connection itself does not turn the lens into a Z lens.
An Expressly Manual Connection
The corresponding K&F manufacturer's description specifies a manual adapter without electrical contacts. Autofocus and electronic aperture control are not supported, but infinity focusing is. An AI/AI-S lens with its own aperture ring therefore falls into this category via its mechanical controls.
Working with Your Own Aperture Ring
You set the distance on the lens and select the operating aperture on the ring of a lens designed for this purpose. You use the direct camera image to assess sharpness. For a lens without its own mechanical aperture control, the operating question is different; this adapter is not described as a replacement for any modern aperture control.
Set the Camera to Manual Lens
The manufacturer points out that, if necessary, a suitable camera body must allow shutter release without detecting an electronic lens. The exact menu designation depends on the camera model. This is a step toward using the manual setup and not a confirmation of additional camera-lens communication.
