Battery disposal
Information on the disposal of old batteries
The following notice is intended for those who use batteries or products with built-in batteries and no longer resell them in the form in which they were delivered (end users):
1. Free return of used batteries
Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. You are legally obliged to return used batteries to ensure proper disposal. You can dispose of them at a municipal collection point or at a local retailer. As a battery distributor, we are also obligated to take back used batteries. However, our obligation to take back is limited to used batteries of the type that we carry or have carried as new batteries in our product range. You can therefore either return used batteries of the aforementioned type to us with sufficient postage or hand them in free of charge at our shipping warehouse at the address listed in the imprint.
2. Meaning of the battery symbols
Batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin (see below). This symbol indicates that batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. For batteries containing more than 0.0005 percent mercury by mass, more than 0.002 percent cadmium by mass, or more than 0.004 percent lead by mass, the chemical name of the pollutant used is located below the wheeled bin symbol – where "Cd" stands for cadmium, "Pb" for lead, and "Hg" for mercury.

Description
Linhof tripod head, grey
Condition and limitations
Condition: used.
Slight to moderate signs of use, such as scratches or minor wear, may be present.
The product shows normal signs of wear due to age that cannot be avoided.
This may include minor scratches, slight discoloration, or minor material wear.
Connecting the camera and base
The grey Linhof tripod head is used to align the camera on a suitable base. The documented specific version is crucial, especially when the head, tripod, and camera are assembled from different systems.
Consider connections and center of gravity
Check the existing mountings on the camera, head, and tripod. 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch threads are different connection sizes. An interchangeable plate must also fit the specific plate system. The weight of long lenses and an offset setup affect the balance of the overall system.
