Battery disposal
Information on the disposal of old batteries
The following notice is intended for those who use batteries or products with built-in batteries and no longer resell them in the form in which they were delivered (end users):
1. Free return of used batteries
Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. You are legally obliged to return used batteries to ensure proper disposal. You can dispose of them at a municipal collection point or at a local retailer. As a battery distributor, we are also obligated to take back used batteries. However, our obligation to take back is limited to used batteries of the type that we carry or have carried as new batteries in our product range. You can therefore either return used batteries of the aforementioned type to us with sufficient postage or hand them in free of charge at our shipping warehouse at the address listed in the imprint.
2. Meaning of the battery symbols
Batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin (see below). This symbol indicates that batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. For batteries containing more than 0.0005 percent mercury by mass, more than 0.002 percent cadmium by mass, or more than 0.004 percent lead by mass, the chemical name of the pollutant used is located below the wheeled bin symbol – where "Cd" stands for cadmium, "Pb" for lead, and "Hg" for mercury.

Description
Pentacon Praktica B Winder for B100, B200, BC1, BCA, BCX
Condition and Limitations
Condition: good used condition.
Ideal for automatic film advance on compatible camera models.
Typical age-related signs of wear, such as small scratches or dull surfaces, are possible.
It automates film advance on compatible camera models and is ideal for continuous shooting or a fast workflow.
Minor scratches or other signs of wear may be present.
Automatic film advance for the B system
The Praktica B Winder handles film advance and shutter cocking on a suitable B camera body. When the shutter is held down, the original manual states a rate of approximately one to two images per second. The mechanism keeps the camera ready between shots without you having to operate the advance lever after every image. The actual speed depends on the exposure time and power supply.
Single shot and continuous shooting
A short press of the shutter button allows for a single shot. If the shutter button is held down, the Winder continues the sequence. With the Winder switched off, the film can still be advanced manually according to the manual. The accessory does not add automatic focusing or additional exposure programs to the body.
Four AA batteries and the appropriate bottom coupling
The original manual specifies four AA alkaline batteries. When attaching, the guide pin and mounting screw are aligned with the designated underside of the camera. Installation takes place in the switched-off position. The specifically named B100/B200/BC1/BCA/BCX bodies are taken from the item's system classification; other Praktica generations do not automatically have the same connection.
Rewinding remains manual
To rewind, you switch off the Winder, use the designated release, and turn the camera's rewind crank. Motorized advance is therefore not equivalent to motorized rewinding. The functions of a later BX Winder are not attributed to this Praktica B model.
