What is a winder?
A motorized film advance mechanism that screws onto the bottom of the camera. After each shot, it automatically advances the film.
What is the difference compared to a motor drive?
A winder usually manages one to two frames per second, while a motor drive can handle significantly more. Motor drives are larger, heavier, and require more power.
When is it worth it?
Anywhere you need to shoot quickly in succession – sports, children, animals – or where you don't want to take the camera away from your eye.
Does every winder fit every camera?
No. Winders are model-specific: the connection, coupling, and contacts must match the camera. The product title indicates which model a winder is compatible with.
Which batteries do I need?
Usually AA batteries, four to six depending on the model. The exact specifications are listed in the battery compartment. Batteries are not included.
Does the camera still work without the winder?
Yes. You can remove it at any time and advance the film by hand again.
What do we check?
The motor operation and its secure fit on the camera. Since winders are model-specific, we do not check them on every possible camera – make sure before you buy that the model is compatible with yours.
How do we assess the condition?

What is included in the delivery?
The winder itself. Batteries, a bag, or cables are only included if they are mentioned in the product title.
